It’s been a busy term for Nursery, we are very excited for our assembly tomorrow and have been practising with the Reception children. We have also produced some lovely tracing – please come and see our wonderful display in the corridor. We have been working very hard to hold our pencil with one pressing finger and following the lines carefully. We hope you like our lovely pictures.
The children have been very busy this term looking at dinosaurs. We have found out lots of different facts and even made a tasty sandwich for herbivores. The children have also been learning how to mix paints correctly and how to mix different colours. Once the children were confident with their colour mixing they were eager to paint their own dinosaurs and looked very carefully at the different features. Below are some samples of the children’s colour mixing and dinosaurs.
The last week of school has arrived and we have had a very busy term. The Christmas performance was a great success and the children all worked very hard. This week we have lots of fun activities planned and have been making Christmas decorations and finishing our beautiful Christmas cards. We are very excited for our Party day on Thursday. Children will need to bring their wellington boots as we will start off with a Welly Walk in the morning followed by party food and games in the afternoon. We look forward to pinning the nose on Ruldolph, pass the parcel, chocolate hunt and musical statues. We hope you enjoy the Nursery pictues, Merry Christmas.
We are really looking forward to our welly walk on Friday 30th November. We will be leaving school at 1:00pm. If your child does not attend Nursery during this session and you would like to join us please speak to a member of staff. We will be listening very carefully for lots of different sounds and have made some listening ears to help us.
